I was so delighted to receive this letter in the store from Hayley.  Completely unprompted, Hayley has taken the time to express her appreciation which in todays society people making the effort to “applaude” is rare.  Thank you Hayley for agreeing  I can share this with you……

I am writing this letter to you today to express a huge than you to your team for helping me find my dream wedding dress.  The service I received within your shop was second to none and most definitely one of the best experiences I have had when comparing to other bridal shops.

I would like to say a particular thank you to Denise, who was absolutely fantastic and actually picked out the dress, which I would later go on to buy.  She was attentive, enthusiastic, and personable and went out of her way to help me even when the shop was full of other customers .  I would like you to know that Denise is a a real asset to your team and I will be recommending not only Denise, to family and friends but The Bridal Lounge of York as a whole.

As we broaden our collection and introduce new collections to the store, we are pleased to announce we are now exclusive stockists of Marylise Bridal.  Marylise are an international bridal design house.  Contempory in design, offering affordable signature design which adds a different offer to our collection in store.  These dresses take 5 months to make from your original order.  We are pleased to offer this collection to our brides which broadens the appeal of our collection.  Marylise dresses have a classical look to their collection and offer the most oppulent fabric and most affordable prices.  The collection is priced between £1,000 – £1,200.

The main reason for my email is to say how fantastic my experience was. The lady who helped me was patient and understanding and her advice was invaluable.

It was so nice to receive this email from Sara and photographs from her big day.  I remember the day Sara walked into the store with her mum and it feels like just 5 mins!  Sara, you were polite and an absolute pleasure to help in the store and many thanks for your kind words and for taking the trouble to express your thanks!  We all do our best to ensure that every thing is as stressfree as possible so it it nice to receive an acknowledgement of our efforts.  Best wishes for the future Sara.

I just wanted to write and say thank you for my beautiful wedding dress! My Mum and I came in in October last year after a horrendous day of wedding dress shopping and you were fab! You had a special weekend on showing new dresses for the next year and it was one of these that I got! I didn’t want to try it on initially, it was my Mum that persuaded me, but when I tried it on everyone cried, including me! Proved to me it was the one to have!

I loved the pattern on the top, the little flowers and the cross over detail round the waist, plus all the sparkly bits down the skirt and train! I had so many compliments on my dress and how different it was! I’ve included some photos of me in my dress!!
I wanted to say thank you very much for all your help, and my dress, and for making everything very straight forward from picking the dress, to fitting to picking up the dress. You were especially wonderful as you didn’t turn me away, or be haughty with me (as several shops were!) because there were only 6 months to my wedding day! It completely took some of the stress out of it for me!

Dear Emma, Christine and all at the Bridal Lounge of York, Thank you all so much for all your help with my wedding dress!  The Lounge is lovely and has a nice homely feel to it and you offer beautiful dresses at very good prices.  I felt very relaxed and at ease when trying on dresses and Christine was very patient, helpful but not pushy as some assistants can be.  Thank you Emma for finding extra fabric for me to add capped sleeves to the dress. The customer service at The Bridal Lounge of York is absolutely first rate. I was nervous about the whole experience of getting a wedding dress and Emma was amazing, I felt completely comfortable from the moment I walked in the shop. Having visited a few other shops where I had felt a bit like a fish out of water, this was an altogether much more enjoyable experience. I felt reassured that everything to do with finding the right dress, getting it delivered, the fitting and the overall result was totally smooth and I had every confidence that I could discuss any concerns and seek their advice. They truly are the experts. Thanks Emma, it was a perfect day and I felt so very special in my beautiful dress.

I was delighted to receive the email from Claire with her photographs.  I remember when she first came into the store with her friend and now she is married!  It just feels like 5 minutes ago!

Thank you and your staff once again for the fabulous and friendly service you provided for myself in choosing my wedding dress. I cannot believe that it is all over now after all those months of waiting and altering the dress. We had a fantastic day and the weather was beautiful, so fortunate with how our summer has been so far.
I have attached a couple of photographs which may be useful for future brides who may want to get an idea of how a wide strap would look on a dress. You may like to show these to Karen as it was her brilliant handiwork that made the dress exactly what I wanted.

The Bridal Lounge of York and it’s lovely staff made choosing my wedding dress a real pleasure and a lot of fun. All three ladies who dealt with me made me feel like nothing was too much trouble, making me feel at ease straight away and offering some great advice about what would suit me. Their attitude towards helping you to find the right dress was fantastic, not rushing you to make a decision and offering a very reasonable refund policy in case you change your mind. I would recommend it to everyone!

A fantastic, spacious and beautiful shop with a very impressive collection. My helper was incredibly patient and kind. I bought and walked away with my beautiful dress the same afternoon – what a weight off my mind. Of all the shops I went in to look for dresses, this was the most welcoming, helpful, and had the nicest atmosphere. 

It was wonderful to hear from a customer of the Bridal Lounge of York who kindly sent me some photographs that capture her special day.  I remember Mary like it was just yesterday, and it surprises me how fast things come round!  From seeing Mary when she came in to try on her dress, meeting her parents from France, and then seeing her for the last time as she left with her bridal gown.  Mary married in France, and sent me a message to let me know how much she enjoyed the day!
